Lower Cape Outreach Council Annual Meeting & Dinner
Tuesday, June 13th
Wayside Inn, Main Street, Chatham
5:30 open bar
6:30 dinner

A time to celebrate what we’ve achieved and prepare for the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead!

For those of you who are accustomed to our annual dinner always being held in April and usually in Orleans, the specifics of this year’s event may come as a surprise.

Our development committee feels that by postponing the meeting until June, we may actually attract some of our seasonal supporters who are never here in early April. Further, we thought that my moving the event to the Wayside Inn in Chatham, we could accommodate more people while underscoring the fact that our presence reaches far beyond the boundaries of the town of Orleans.

The price for this year’s dinner is $27.50 per person. This covers the costs of the meal, a 20% gratuity for the wait staff, complimentary dinners for our invited honorees and the costs of presenting the annual HOPE Award.

LCOC Joins with Other Local Non-Profits to Help Our Shellfishing Communities

Robin Carroll and Larry Marsland have joined a team of local non-profits, county officials and members of our financial community to create a campaign to raise emergency funds to help shellfishing families get through the red tide disaster. With beds already opening up, it is naïve to think that the problem is over. Our predictions are that shellfishing families will be playing catch-up for months to come and that Lower Cape Outreach should expect above average outlays well through the end of the year.

And the winner is...

On Thursday, April 6th, the winner of LCOC's 3rd Annual Super Restaurant Raffle was drawn at our monthly membership meeting.

The lucky winner is Susan Lindquist of Brewster.
